Once you have an account with at least one connected insurance plan, we will get started on your claims review. You can also submit any questions you have by opening a new support case in our app or web portal.
Sheer Health’s Standard membership is free, and you can sign up without a credit card. If we put money back in your pocket, we charge 10% of the savings.
Sheer Health’s Premium membership is $40/month. On our Premium plan, any money we save or get reimbursed for you goes straight back to you.

There is currently no free trial for the Premium unless you are referred through an official Sheer Health partner. All of Sheer Health’s features are available on both membership tiers, so if you want to try us out for free, you can sign up for our Standard plan, and we will only charge you if we put money back in your pocket.

Anyone over the age of 18 who has US-based health insurance can use Sheer Health.
We support medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy insurance, along with certain MyChart accounts. We're always working on adding support for additional insurance plans.

Yes, we do. Whether you are the primary subscriber or a dependent, you can add insurance connections for your whole family. One Premium membership covers your immediate family. If you would like us to join your and a family member’s account, please open a new support case.
Yes, we do work with healthcare providers. We support patient eligibility checks and out-of-network claim submissions. Send us an email at providers@sheerhealth.com to get in touch, or learn more here.
Once we securely connect to your insurance portal, there is no need for you to share your claims, EOBs, and authorizations. If we are missing something, we will let you know.
Yes, Sheer Health submits out-of-network claims. Upload your bills through our app or website. You can also directly share bills to the app by clicking "Share" on a PDF in your phone and selecting the Sheer Health app as the share target.
We’ll review the bill for accuracy, work with you for any amendments, and submit it to your insurance. We’ll also track the progress of your claims and confirm they’re successfully processed.
We expect most reconnections to take up to 60 seconds. Sometimes, it can take longer depending on several factors. We appreciate your patience during the reconnection process. Please keep the app or webpage open until the reconnection window closes. If you continue to experience issues, please let us know by opening a new support case.
First, your family member should create a Sheer Health account of their own. Then, please open a new support case to add a family member to your account.
Once your accounts are joined, please note that you will see all of each others’ insurance information and cases.
One Premium membership covers all of your immediate family.
Yes. You can find your referral link by tapping “Invite a friend” on the home screen of our app or web portal. We appreciate all of your referrals!

You can connect insurance plans by tapping on the health tab in our mobile app, then tapping “Add new connection.” You can also add connections here in our web portal.
You will be asked to sign in to your insurance portal. We support medical, dental, vision, pharmacy and hospital connections, and we are adding new options regularly.
